It's tradition to watch this every once in a while

Facts 😂😂😮💨
Fact 👍
ah ushe angus aha
when both were tied at 89 and none of them could score, I know everyone's nerves were at its peak. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SERIES.
@Kevin P. same
i watched this with my grandma in her bedroom on her little ass old tv and yes our nerves we’re at there peak
ong
My favorite series ever!
giselle i miss u bae
Looking back on this you can see how serious, cautious, intense, and technical this all was. Everyone was so locked in. Bron didn't even complain when he was fouled on that lay up. He kept it moving because the only thing that mattered was getting a real bucket and playing true championship defense! They left it all out there. All of the emotions and nonsense was nowhere to be seen in this final 3 minutes. From anyone.
Bro not anymore
Well said.
Everyone talks about that 3 that Kyrie made, but Lebron pretty much made a dagger free throw. Even if Curry would have hit that 3 they would have still been up by 1. Kyrie and Bron were on one this series.
This!!
In 2016 nobody had problems
I was so happy I got to watch this live. The “BLOCKED BY JAMES!” The “Cleveland is a city of champions once again” The “CLEVELAND; THIS IS FOR YOU” The four point play. The 3-1 to 3-4. I remember game seven, it was the most nerve racking game I had ever watched. What a time to be alive.
I just wish he would’ve made that dunk with a foul over Draymond
He ain’t very bright but he can ball and seems like a nice cool dude
Probably should've mentioned kyries shot in there
@Marin Bubalo you hit it right on the nail
Oh I agree completely. As a Cavs fan I thought I was about to have a heart attack pacing around my living room with the game on
My Brother Aaron, 25 years old, died Saturday June 18th, the night before this game, in a tragic motorcycle wreck. Watching this at my cousins house Sunday night, this game and especially the last 3 mins took me out of my extreme grief if only for a moment. I will always owe Lebron James / Kyrie Irving and the Cavs team for that special time. Lebrons speech at the end especially hits home for me as I rewatch this. That is power of sports.
My condolences.
Did I ask though?
F for Aaron
Rest In Peace your brother man 🕊
I Pray for his family and that they will have solice
It’s crazy how no one appreciates LeBron for doing the impossible: putting on a shirt without taking off his cap
@Junior Rose cheap shot? lol lebron's block was the huge factor there
@kingjamesg35 he only did it once to reggie miller
after that game, if he wanted to make it rain upward he could.
73-9 and 3-1 lead made this game one of the most memorable finals ever.
Watching in disbelief fans at Oakland was such a sight.
@SalemPhilly🇵🇸
I bet you didn’t know the Warriors existed before 2015. You use to be Lakers fan or Spurs fan before Warriors won their first chip. What a bandwagon you’re.
@just thisguy the league cheated the warriors. Suspended draymond over some bs
We’ve had 5 finals since then and none of them have come close to how I felt watching this live. Summer 2016 was one of the best times of my life. Bucks vs Suns was good, but this final was unreal. I still get chills watching this game. Never get bored.
2019 playoffs were the Last Time NBA ratings and viewership were high every playoff after has been sleepers
Meh, the series overall wasn't that entertaining. Game 7 was ELECTRIFYING, don't get me wrong, but every other game was basically a blowout.
@Synceno lmfao l was dying when Joel started crying but that game winner from kawhi was insane, the way the ball bounced into the net tho
raptors vs sixers 2019 also good
2019 was god tier
People may talk about the amount of rings he has but this one ring from Cleveland is worth 5
That one title is easily the most valuable championship in sports history. What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained
Yep such a great story
Crazy to think this was 5 years ago. Greatest finals ever. What a time
@bep bop Those “plumbers” were beating Shaq,Kobe, Duncan, and other guys in the playoffs to get to the finals
Wouldn't LeBron look real good in a Cavs uniform next year?
@bep bop you got a anime as profile pic, you are definitely a child to call LA lakers, sonics, suns, trail blazers and Utah plumbers
Greatest Block in NBA history.
Greatest Shot in NBA history.
Greatest Comeback in NBA history
Greatest Game 7 in NBA history.
Shut Up Gen Z. The '90s is the greatest decade in human history. Everything after that is trash
@Okay Then Well he isn't Michael Jordan, that's just my opinion, he never had that aura about him, he always choked at the free throw line, when the game was on the line, sure he's made last second shots, but if you ask me who I'd take with the game on the line, last second shot or to make 2 free throws to win a game, I would always choose Jordan.
@Fartbrain this aged like milk but I guess this season he’s not doing amazing.
Greatest shot?
Ray Allen's 3 vs Spurs?
Ron Artest(MWP) 3 against Celtics?
Mj's shot against the Jazz?
The brotherly hug between LeBron and Kyrie at the end is something we'll never see again (on camera at least). Let's all cherish that moment.
@IcyWinterX lebron's block avoided the warriors to have a lead
@Batman bruh imagine😂it could happen if nets lose
@Sinful.fx_ kyrie to lakers
aye there is a small chance bron goes to the nets, he prob wont but maybe
I mean kyrie got that 3 to extend the lead
Everytime I see Lebron crying on the ground in this clip, my eyes well up. What a performance by the King, kept his promise and his word. Legendary.
@Justin do you not know his nickname?
@Damien kun warriors had 3 games to win lmao
This shit was obviously rigged
@Justin Guzman sorry bro but if I just won a championship for my home that I was born in I’m crying
LeBaby
Greatest finals in nba history. No one can understand how crazy Cleveland went after this.
Cleveland sucked but I'm glad they won because the Warriors broke the Bulls record. Nobody insults the '90s Bulls like that and gets away with it
5:26 can we just admire Kevin Love’s defence right here
And curry choked LOL.
One of the best defensive plays ever
Everyone says he's a shit defender but he locked up curry when it mattered the most
I just came down to see if this comment was here lol. Straight clamps
One of The Most Iconic and crucial play moments happen The Block 3:01 "ohhh block by james!!! lebron james with the rejection" The Shot 5:03 by kyrie irving Kevin Love Defensive stop 5:27
7:42 Its Over!! Its over!! Cleveland is a city of champions🏆🏀 once again the Cavaliers are nba champion 🏀
@Morgan cry
I’ve been calling it the Block, Shot, and Stop for a while; good thing someone else thought to call it that too. Best 1,2,3 Combo ever in a game; amazing.
@Morgan i swear i remember him almost making that dunk. That shit would of been crazy
@Morgan hater lol
@Morgan what
6:18 if that counted it would have without question been the greatest dunk of all time
Greatest dunk no, greatest situation? maybe
@Ahad Merchant yup. The dunk alone would have been insane but the situation would make it better
@Don't Click This after dropping 3-1 in a comeback and against the winningest team ever.
@Patrick O’Hennesy why not...? lbj hitting a poster with 10 seconds left in game 7 of the nba finals. especially when the score was so close. this dunk would have secured a champiopnship. even tho they still won
100% lol
You know how great this finals is when you still feel the nervouness and intensity.
I was 9 years old when these finals happened. My whole family, including me, was rooting for the Cavaliers, and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best game of basketball I have ever watched, as well as the best finals at least I have ever watched. I am 14 now, almost going to be 15, and I don't remember a whole lot of things from that age, but this is one I will never forget.
Best season ever.
Kobe farewell tour
Warriors 73-9
Toronto All Star Weekend (Thompson 3P, Lavine-Gordon Dunk, Kobe ASG)
Finals Game 7
Comback from 3-1
Lebron finally wins it for Cleveland
@BIG yeah bro cause u do. My bad G
right!
@BANKS 2018? Cleveland literally got sweeped because they had Durant, it wasn't even fair, no kyrie either but I was dying when Jr took the ball out and lebron was pointing in game 1
Still goosebumps everytime I watched this iconic duel
Kyrie was loved by everyone
Russ was a superstar
KD was loved in OKC
All this changed
But Lebron is always a GOAT
MJ
Mj is you fool
@Shako Imnadze how
@bigboymatthew ya know very well he got robbed in 2018 and 2011
@Qutz his ego is too high in lakers right now
One of the Most epic game in NBA history, maybe there is no “one of”
A GSW fan, but I couldn’t help being in awe of what LeBron did on the night. That block!!! Monstrous. Fortunate to have watched it live and 5 years on, I still remember all the emotions I felt. Easily one of the best games I’ve seen.
This will forever be my favorite NBA finals. It can't get any more bad ass than Kyrie Irving and Lebron James taking down a 73-9 team from a 3-1 deficit.
@Ricky Gill 2013 was good not that great like game 6 was the thing which made it good
Same here the Greatest NBA Finals!!
For The Record The Warriors Had Help From The Referees and The Community to appear in the NBA Finals since 2015 now that's Rigged.
Its almost as crazy as the 2019 finals. Imagine in 2018 someone told u the raptors were winning a ring lol anyone wouldve laughed
Even though I’m a Laker fan and Lebron won with us, this is still his best championship by far 👑👑
@Geordie Jones not the best defender or scorer. Draymond was the best defender and kyrie was the best scorer tbh
For me this series was the single greatest accomplisment by any player ever. He was the best defender, best scorer, best playmaker, and rebounded like a big especially in the last 3 games. He led both teams in all 5 stats that shit will never happen again.
As a die-hard Warriors fan, it really crushes my heart every time I watch this.
@craIIed this is the greatest Finals performance of all time
@craIIed about what? 😭
Lol cry
I cant even put into words how euphoric this was for me being a Lebron fan. I shed tears at the end can’t lie. Brilliant performance by the Cavs!
I still remember when Bron left Cleveland the first time and, when he came back to play against the cavs, i've never seen so many people harboring so much hatred, so i was shocked when bron came back and even delivered a championship. He really is a forgiving man. Something that I don't think MJ would ever do..
@Sanjoy Kundu Just recency bias bro
@I Am Dezsi what you on?
@Sanjoy Kundu Kyrie carried LeBronze
When all is said and done, LBJ will end as the best to have ever played this game. He's a better player than MJ, but MJ is the GOAT because of the narrative the media pushes. This series solidified Bron has the best for me 👌
The three things that lead the cavs to a title
1. OHHH BLOCKED BY JAMES
2. Irving on Curry one on one
3. Love’s lockdown defence
@M soccer is literally one of the worst sports, would you rather watch someone pretending to get hurt or shots from unspeakable ranges getting made?
@snoop dogg if he would of hit that dunk, no doubt this would of been the best finals in nba history
@snoop dogg draymond would have had to retire if Lebron hit that dunk. It would have been the most famous poster in history
Where was Love on the last defensive play lmao...but those three were big not the best in the NBA even that time but they came back and got the job done!
@Memeporium soccer is good basketball is good its up to what the personal individual enjoys
Man, Kyrie doesn't bend under pressure, He is a true champion! Being clutch when stressed isn't as easy as it looks.
9:25 "i gave everything that I had" I felt that. LBJ GOAT!
I feel LeBron James’ soul crying with joy every time I watch this.
It felt like Lebron's entire time as a basketball player built to this incredible achievement. All the scrutiny he's carried and the time he's spent fine tuning his game gave him everything he needed to earn this ring.
I remembered watching this live while applying for work. Can't believe what's happening from 3-1 down to a game 7. And tied to the last minute until lebrons block and Irving's 3. Can't believe that they overturned the game and won on GS homecourt, amazing moment
Probably the best nba finales of this generation hands down
@Ahmad O but 2013 also had horrible reffing + people root for the team that isn't a super team so people like 2014
“Finales” tho
According to you, this is a the only nba “finales”
There’s been many nba “finals”
How can you argue with the king!!! The comeback, the block, the heart… this one right here made that man the goat.
This was the best finals ever! I have to come back and watch from time to time, and I still get chills.
Come back to this every so often, I’ll always say people under appreciate Kevin Loves clamps that he put on curry in the clutch
Best finals ever. Thank you for this series cavaliers and warriors. I love every part of this series.
I still wish to this day he made that dunk, literally would’ve been a top 5 dunk of all time
Amen
Yea well I still wish iguodala didn’t get blocked
Top one
Definitely
The atmosphere downtown CLE was nothing I ever experienced in my life, still get chills re watching this EVERYTIME! forever thankful to be there to tell my kids one day.
Being downtown in Cleveland when we won was the craziest feeling ever. Everyone was high-fiving al the way home , hugging , dancing on cars and busses on west 25th , it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before . Getting goosebumps thinking about it . Love ✌🏽
2015 Warriors | 67 - 15 : 🏆
2016 Warriors | 73 - 9 : Lost😭💔
2017 Warriors | 67 - 15 : 🏆
2018 Warriors | 58 - 24 : 🏆
And I Feel So Bad That The Greatest Record Of My Golden State Team Didn't Get The Championship.
As A Warriors Fan Moments Later , I Realized That No Matter How Many Rings We Will Win With KD , We Can Never Live This Title Down , And It Won't Take Away The Pain Caused By This Series Loss.
Greatest comeback in NBA history!
Man, that defense of Kevin Love was legendary
The stop The Block The Shot provided by Kevin LeBron and Kyrie
@Earl R.S Fr, Curry had CP3 playing twister, but K Love was looking like Dennis Rodman. Just pure effort and willpower from Love right there lol
Jon Jameson but he did play superb defense in that position he made the shot very difficult for curry didn’t u hear mark Jackson he said what spectacular defense by love don’t hate 😂😂
Hi Bida possession before he had Kyrie and hurled a brick so I understand why he wanted to try the switch on Love. Don’t understand not at least trying for a 2 and putting the pressure back on Cleveland.
Coming back to watch this, I’ve just noticed the amazing sportsmanship between these 2 teams in such a tense game.
6:20
Irving picking Green up after he almost fell
0:52
James picking Curry up after they both fell
As great as LBJs block is, I feel Kyrie’s 3 pointer is super overshadowed and under appreciated. For it to be the dying minute of game 7 at the opponents arena, falling away and on a tough angle and still flush the 3 is pure pressure
Overshadowed? Underappreciated? That 3-pointer is the only résumé Kyrie had for Boston/Brooklyn to agree to make him the face of their franchises. Other than that, he’s just a spectacular scoring machine that can lead a team nowhere.
Exactly, biggest shot in NBA finals history.
What a crazy few minutes of any NBA game ever… the Irving shot, the Lebron block, KLove of all people playing DPOY perimeter defense, Curry completely missing the rim on a 3 pt shot, Draymond being Golden State’s best player… insane
Like Travis said: Goosebumps everytime yeah
K-Love's shutdown of Curry is so underrated. Steph couldn't shake him. Hell of an ending to a game.
Steph was hurt lol he clearly wasn’t 100%great defense by love nonetheless
Marksman If Klay didn’t make a playoff twelve 3s they wouldn’t have gotten past okc anyways
He shake him, but curry wanted 3 badly and love wasn’t going to give it to him. Curry could have driven the basket, love basically gave that to him. They didn’t need a 3 at that point with 53 seconds to go. Love was willing to give him a 2.
Alvaro Fraire k love was washed when he joined the cavs his prime years were with the Twolves it was a miracle LeBron and kyrie carried this team to make the comeback klove played subpar this playoff series and people try to excuse it for that one defensive stop he had on curry not that hard to understand
One of the best defensive quarters I have ever seen from both teams.🔥
I’m from Cleveland. I was at this game. Maybe only 300 Cleveland fans in the whole stadium. Why? 4 reasons…1) There were only connecting flights from Cleveland to Oakland/San Francisco (no direct flights). 2) Tickets were INSANELY expensive. 3) If they lost, it would be a VERY depressing flight home…with a connector. 4) They are playing Game 7 in Golden State…the team that had the best record in NBA history. That said, it was a very high risk, high reward scenario. I spent $3,000 for an 18th row ticket. My heart raced the entire game. Didn’t eat and maybe took a sip of water all 48 minutes (severe dry mouth). Fast forward to when Kyrie hit the go-ahead 3 pointer…this 65 year old woman, only fan near me from Cleveland (I never met before) literally pulled an Elaine Benes and pushed me so hard and starting shaking me with complete and utter shock…”Holy sh*t…we may actually win this thing.”…and sure enough….I took a $3000 risk on the greatest NBA game of all time. 😊
I CAN STILL REMEMBER WATCHING THIS LIVE BACK THEN, ME AND MY FRIENDS PLAYING POOL AND WE HAVE TO STOP OUR GAME JUST TO WATCH THE FINAL MINUTES OF THIS GAME!!!!!
As a Bulls fan, this was the only time in my life I ever rooted for LeBron
Watching this live was one of the greatest privileges of my entire life. Greatest feeling ever.
@nadrojfan every player was abnormally exhausted
Shii watching it live on tv was special , I couldn’t imagine having been there 😱😱
I kinda wish I watched it live too 😅
Same it was the first Finals I ever saw
Agreed!
This was the greatest game ever played in the history of the NBA. Irving and James were both locked in. 🔥🔥🔥
The best series till this day!! Intense, talented, and respectful.
I remember this like it was yesterday. Crazy how time flies 😢
Have chills watching this 6 years later. As an central Ohioan one of my favorite sports moments ever 🤧
LeBron with the block
Kyrie with the shot
Love with the clutch defense
When it came down to the final moments of this game the Big 3 stepped up and delivered.
Reido S which was the biggest shot of the decade
@Reido S exactly, he single handedly kept the cavs alive
And ppl forget...lebron scored 7 of the last Cavs points all in that clutch time. Only other bucket was kyrie 3.
WildCat X damn you really stole this comment.
I know Lebron gets a lot of criticism, for good reason & especially with the Lakers this season, but it's incredible what he did to come back to Cleveland and lead that team and its city to its first championship ever. I think it's unparalleled.
What an amazing final series of moments in that that will be a part of NBA history everybody was hating on LeBron when he left but he made it right
That block. He knew exactly where the play was going to be and freaking beast mode
Kevin Love gets lost in this championship but his defense was a HUGE reason they won this game. He literally played out of his mind sprinting as fast he can on EVERY close out. Incredible effort and warrior spirit. Thanks for the chip Kevin
5:04 That shot coming from Kyrie Irving is the reason why Cleveland take that Champion 🏆🔥💯
Imagine how loud it would’ve been if Cleveland had home court
watched this live. and every year i watch this final 3 minutes just to relive this moment! i love this! cleveland this is for you!
I’ve seen lots of finals games, and this game 7 is certainly in my top 3 greatest finals games ever. I was not a Cavs fans. Never had any relations to Cleveland, but I was rooting for their team to win because of Lebron. From what I can remember, the game was very intense. It’s as though time had stood still. We were all locked in, both players and fans. It was so fun to watch. I can only imagine what the people in Cleveland felt once the final buzzer sounded and their team had won a chip for the first time in 50+. I was so happy for them.
“CLEVELAND THIS IS FOR YOU” gives me chills almost makes me wanna cry when I hear it
@skabucket72 hi do I know u
Brandon whats up buddy
@Damian Lillard shut up Khris, you didn't win a championship
FACTS
This is the game where Lebron destroyed doubters....comeback against a 3-1 deficit in the finals. And the game where Steph started to train like hell for his offense.
Classic… absolute classic. Best Finals in the last 20 years
No
6:17 that might have been the greatest dunk of all time if he made it
Love's defense on Curry won them this game and that is always forgotten
One of the most satisfying wins of NBA finals history
Sports period
If Curry Didn't Choke Cavs Will Lost It.
Best NBA finals of the 2010s
@Jerk Of All Trades lol but hurt
Greatest series win in the history of basketball. This will never be topped. Warriors lost 9 games the entire regular season , then lose three in a row to end what would have been one of, if not thee..greatest NBA season of all time. Love it!
I love how the entire stadium was in disbelief and complete silence when the game ended lol
The Greatest Game in the history of basketball
BEST SEASON EVER!!! LEGEND KYRIE!!!
The Cavs big three really showed up in the final minutes
Lebron's block on iggy
Love's defence on curry
And then kyries big 3 pointer
@Jon Dough still would’ve got packed up and sent to Africa by LeBron
Iguodala slowed down and looked back to make sure Lebron was close behind him then decided to layup the ball instead of dunking
@Deluxe Basketball Analysis straight up wrong he was hustling like crazy this entire video
One Of The GREATEST MOMENTS in NBA HISTORY!
6:46 always appreciated this moment…. Biggest free throw of lebrons life 💯
I grew up watching LeBron. I was always glued to the tv when he was in the playoffs. Been missing him these last few years. Absolute greatness.
Can’t take this one away from lebron. I still think Jordan takes it as the best ever but this is the greatest comeback in NBA history no question
Glad I got to witness this in my lifetime. Just imagine in 50 years how people will go back to this game and see legends
Yeah, getting to watch that live on television is such a privilege.
Whenever life gets me down, I always come and watch this. Almost 4 AM and my bad mood is now gone :)
Was one of the happiest moments of my life. Was watching the cavs with the whole family on father's day.
I have to watch at least once a week.
One of the greatest moments in sports history.
that Chase down block is historic af, can't stop watching it
@IamGrandMagus You can nit-pick and twist it any way you want. At the end of the day LeBron and the Cavs got the job done and made history in the process. End Of Story!!!
@Stormy Redhawk I most certainly have. I lived on the court every day as a kid & played in high school.
@Bill Graper by the rule it could be considered a goal-tend but not in the way other idiots are saying. His actual block was clean, perfectly timed, it's when his left hand hit the rim. It wasn't called and thankfully it shouldn't have been called because his left hand touching the rim had zero impact on the play plus on the other end Kyrie was hacked going for a layup and it wasn't called so it all balanced out. I forget what section it was in but it could be considered a goal-tend by a very strict interpretation of the rule, but only a very strict interpretation and I don't think this block qualifies.
Steph Curry's defining moment...and not only did he shoot 6 for 19, but he allowed his man to hit the dagger on him. How he's been allowed to skate by after coming up lame in 3 of the 5 Finals he was in, I'm not sure.
Block by James, still one of my favorite moments in sports history
The greatest NBA Finals series ever. I get the goosebumps watching the final seconds of that game all the time. Lebron we would love you to comeback home, and to finish your career here. We appreciate you for the 1st championship for the Cavs, and we appreciate it you more if you can 2 more with these guns. Much love King James and gang for this championship. We’re forever grateful sir.
Why would you ever want him to come back here for an over inflated contract so he can does what he always does, and leave the team in a state of disrepair after he leaves for retirement? The current cavs team is plenty good without him.
Greatest performance I’ve ever witnessed. Go Raptors! Lol
LeBron with "The Block"
Kyrie with "The Shot"
K Love with "The Stop"
The entire big 3 showed up in these last minutes of this game
“The Lock”
Curry is not that great 1 v 1. But he's fucking annoying because he's one of the best from coming around screens.
Cyril Lotho ......should’ve gone not should’ve went
weathersponge5000 LeBron got fouled in the begining of the video
This the greatest finals in NBA History and always will be
Epic one of the greatest series, come back to watch again and again.
This by far the game that kept you on your seats!
This will always be one of the greatest moments I’ve ever watched. 3-1 and end up winning, fuckin incredible
If only this was done on the Cavs home court, the crowd would’ve went insane
You can definitely look up the cavs arena broadcasting the game. The crowd was ridiculously loud bruh
I was out of the Cleveland area at the time and I yelled/screamed/lost it when at the end of this game. Glad I got to witness this event even if it was just on the TV.
Da’Jour Thompson the building would’ve collapsed 😂
Have u ever seen the watch party in Cleveland. It was surreal. Personally I’d take a crowd full of nothing but Cavs fans over a somewhat mixed amount of both
This is when LeBron became One Of The Greatest of all time!
You can’t ask for a better finals series than this
