Jrue Holiday added 24 PTS, 8 REB, 8 AST and 2 BLK for the Bucks in the victory, while Jayson Tatum tallied 34 PTS, 6 REB and 4 AST for the Celtics. The Bucks lead this best-of-seven series 3-2.

As a Suns fan, this is vintage Finals Jrue Holiday getting a clutch steal and making a series changing play. I still get nightmares of this moment. Fantastic defense from Holiday. Celtics can still come back from a devastating lost. This is a great back and forth series. May the best team win.

@Pkmixes tr I don't know why you took such huge offense to my comment lmao...He has had great counting stats in this series but in the 1st 2 games BOS held Giannis, who is usually shooting around 55-60% from the field, to just 20-52 FG (38.5%). That's doing a great job. He also scored 34 pts (but on 32 shots) in Game 4, not 40. And he's also averaging over 5 TOs and 4 Fouls per game. They've done as good a job as possible, but Giannis has found ways to be productive on both ends. Which has led to wins.

Not only did Smart get stripped and blocked by Holiday on back to back possessions but he also lost the ball which ended up leading to the Holiday 3pt to tie the game. One player can't ever lose you the game, but this is as close as it gets to a player doing that.
Edit: Also, Tatum was wideee open on that last Boston possession cuz Matthews fell down. Instead of Smart trying to bring the ball up, he should have had his eyes down the court and rifled that pass to Tatum. They would've gotten an extremely clean look.
Smart cost them this game. But on the last play. You have to blame Horford. He didn't even look at Tatum. When he got the ball he passed it right back to Smart. As a veteran you have to know Tatum is your best shot at winning. Tatum was a ahead. Passing it back to Smart. Who already turned it over 3 times. Is a real bad decision. All Bucks have to do is foul Smart because they were down by 3 not two. Horford made a bine head play

UNTIL those last few minutes, it was looking like a Boston win with the same narrative of Giannis playing his heart out and his teammates failing him. FINALLY Jrue woke up, which is what he's SUPPOSED to do. Connagton good D and 2 FT, Matthews with steal and offensive rebound that led to two 3s, Portis with game winning offense rebound and putback, Holiday with 3 and 2 great defensive plays, and Giannis being Giannis. Y'all keep inflating Boston's strengths, and exaggerating Milwaukee's weaknesses. Problem with the Celtics is they get a small lead then start playing like they're blowing a team out. They play well in spurts, but struggle to maintain it thruout an entire game. Meanwhile, the Bucks remain even-keeled no matter what the scenario. Don't get too high, don't get too low.
