The contract with MPJ is the same as the contract of Luka Dončić. .and 20 million more than Devin Booker's contract. MPJ did not play because he was not vaccinated. JM and MPJ are constantly dissatisfied that they are not the bearers of the game. Mike Melone is to blame for the defensive game and the poor purchase and rating of the players

I am from Serbia and im following Jokic since his time in Mega Vizura (serbian club). I always knew he is special but i couldnt imagin he will be b2b nba mvp, breaking records and puting this numbers. For us Serbians it is blessing to have guys like Nikola or Novak Djokovic.

With Jokic on the court they’re top ten on offense and defense, without him they are dead last, he’s pretty damn valuable. That’s putting Jokic on the Rockets and getting them to the six seed. Embiid couldn’t do that

Jokic has never lost a series to a lower seeded team. He has always had his team overachieve. Last year everyone picked a fully healthy blazers to win against a injury riddled Nuggets. Guess what happened. Nuggets won. Overachievement accomplished right on the spot.
Down 3-1 vs Jazz ended up 3-4. Overachieved again
Down 3-1 vs Clippers ended up 3-4.
Overachieved again.
Against the Spurs everyone picked the spurs because the Nuggets were a rookie playoff team and no hard experience. They won. Overachieved again.

Extremely well deserved, anybody who says otherwise has no knowledge of basketball at all, he led g league players to the play offs and a 6th seed which they had absolutely no right being in, he had the highest efficiency rating in nba history, higher than even wilt when he was averaging 50, he was also the first player in nba history to have 2k points, 1k rebounds, 500 assists and over, he also had a higher box score and plus/minus than giannis and embiid signifying that he was much more valuable to his team than them, the only thing embiid had going for him was that he was the top scorer, he led in no other category, and to further show how much Jokic played better than embiid, if Jokic had harden, harrris, maxey and danny green we all know he'd have done much better considering he was able to make the playoffs as the 6th seed with g league players and was only 3 games behind embiid, it's literal madness to say anybody deserved it more than Jokic

He's a big stat monster like harden or westbrook in their best seasons... but he is very clearly not the best basketball player alive.
