Man i can remember when shaq came into the league no one had ever seen anything like him. The speed, power and and size, wow. Definitely the most dominate center of all time.
@J E F Bill > Wilt. Wilt could bench 500, 50 inch Vertical but his stats against Bill were way worse. I don’t think we can knock the players for their competition.
Shaq was a force to be reckoned with when he first started his dominant NBA career playing for the Orlando Magic! He was a beast in his prime playing with great players like Afernee Hardaway aka Penny, Dennis Scott aka D3, Booie, Nick Anderson, Brian Hill and Horace Grant. I miss this old school 90's magic team! Only thing, I wish they won an NBA Championship together with "Lil Penny" especially in the 95 playoffs finals against Rockets!!! That would have been sweet!!!
Me and my brother talk about this all the time. Shaq had the best opportunity of his career here because it was a new, young franchise. Yes, he won championships with the Lakers, but you had a chance to make the Orlando Magic your franchise; the Lakers already had previous greats. You, Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Donald Royal, Anthony Bowie and many others had such a bright future. I have no doubt y'all would've won multiple championships that would've put the new Orlando Magic franchise up there with those Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Laker, New York Knicks teams of old. Big opportunity missed! Orlando would've been your city, dude. This is why LeBron went back to Cleveland and wants to win a championship there. He'll be a superstar player from Ohio and bring that team it's first championship and bring that city a championship since the 60's. It's all about legacy and being that one to set the tone is how you want to be remembered.
The electricity in Orlando was great before the draft because everybody in Orlando knew we were getting Shaq, but we were still a little concerned about how good of a player he was going to be. A year earlier the Magic picked up his teammate, center Stanley Roberts, and he was a bust so there was concern if Shaq was going to be a bust as well. But, Shaq brought that electricity even before he played his first game in a Magic uniform.
Big respect to all the big man who jumped vs shaq thats wat made the centers era basketball so great every big man jumped to block the dunk no matter who or how great the player is like a gladiator sport
Remember the days I woke up at 3 am in Germany to see Shaq dunking....Penny Hardaway, Dennis Scott, Robertson still are heroes to me....I was crying when they were swept 4-0 by Houston in the Finals....
I always have to cry to see Orlando Shaq attack, this is just to awesome! But sad at the same time, always thinking of what would have happened if he stayed in this shape all his career!?
What a dude, it was so enjoyable to watch him with Bear Grylls in running wild with Bear Grylls, made jokes all the time and the respect towards Bear from him was something else :)
Young shaq was as unstoppable as any force of nature. #4 could have actually killed him. I remember pretending to shaq dunk on my wallball court in my bedroom growing up......yeah, after two my dad was like hell no. Lol So I had to use electrical tape and hangers to fix them. 😂😂😂
@Victor Sullivan Wilt didn't play in Shaq's era. Shaq was more dominant physically than Wilt. And had he play in the 60's, he would have averaged hands down the same kind of numbers Wilt did in his prime. People never take the era into account but it does count.
After being in Orlando, he was constantly entering the season 30-40lbs overweight. If he cared enough to keep a low body fat percentage, and worked on his FT's, he'd have every NBA record known to man, including most rings in the modern era. He lacked work ethic.
I took a picture of Shaq dunking a alley oop at the GWF vs. the lakers and he's got his right hand on the rim slamming it and tip of his left foot is touching ground. I'm 6'2" and if I lowered my hoop to 9 ft., I still wouldn't be able to dunk on guys like Shaq did. So athletic for 7'1"
I think Shaq was truly the last physically dominant big man in the NBA. free throw shooting ( yikes!) aside, his sheer size and agility made him pretty tough to guard.
You gotta realize this was when the league was physical...they didn't call the love tap fouls like they do nowadays... These were top NBA centers ! Not scubs ... Hall of Famers known for their physicalness... Alonzo Mourning, Mutombo,. Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon,
Salut from Greece ,i wasn't fan off shaquile O'Neal never,, i was fan of Robinson or Hakim this era but i think shaq is the best center of all time ,its fair to admit this
I remember a time where Penny alley-ooped to Shaq from half court. I remember writing a paper on that dunk while in high school. X-D Anybody got a clip of that?
Shaquille: =dunks=
The ring: *Ah shit here we go again*
@Doomed42 bruh they call it whatever that want go cry plus why are u judging
@Doomed42 Yeah Here in Phillippines even i before i called it Ring but thanks to NBA2K i was actually Called Rim
Man i can remember when shaq came into the league no one had ever seen anything like him. The speed, power and and size, wow. Definitely the most dominate center of all time.
I wonder how many of his team mates were killed by friendly fire.😂
I like his Subway Commercials.
You speack everything about the shaq he was a moster
Will was vs plumbers and Math teachers. Non of this guys could compete in today’s league
@J E F Bill > Wilt. Wilt could bench 500, 50 inch Vertical but his stats against Bill were way worse. I don’t think we can knock the players for their competition.
#5 should have been #1. Because of that, the NBA had to change how the baskets were constructed, as no one had ever caused an entire basket to fail.
@Break Brick thank you !!!!
@Slow Mo yeah but hes talking about the newer style of backboards. Wilt broke a bunch also
Breaking the basket is the most valuable achievement
Fax
I like the play when he dunked.
Bro samr
Me too hahaha
What time😂
Me too
Shaq is the very reason why they've redesign the base of the basketball rim as he offenly destroys it..
Honestly it was Daryl Dawkins
what?
3 years later and the word "offenly" still makes me lol
True?
Fun fact : shaq destroyed more backboard than make 3 point in his whole career
WiseFlower shaq only made one three in his NBA career lol
3:13 legends say that he is still waiting for the high-five
its been 9 years😔
🤣

That's why I love this guy, he brings his personality right their on the court
you sound like the people from nba

Fog and snow today at work in front of me
+El Hajj Malik El yeah i agree shaq is more dominant in orlando
Cleveland my favorite team cuz I was born in Ohio and lived there for majority of my life
God bless you guys

Still to this day, I cannot get over the fact being such a huge man he moves so swiftly and eloquently.
I love how anytime shaq dunks he really quickly runs away because he KNOWS its gonna come down on him.
I've loved the Orlando Magic since way back then. Even through their terrible seasons. I would like for them to win JUST ONE Championship.
He did what was best for him. Got championships. I don't hate him for leaving us here in Orlando. Our greatest player. Thanks Shaq.
Shaq Attack!!! 90's NBA was and is Legendary!
Big respect to all the big man who jumped vs shaq thats wat made the centers era basketball so great every big man jumped to block the dunk no matter who or how great the player is like a gladiator sport
El Mike Tyson del baloncesto 👏👏👏
Shaq is one of my all time favorites and those plays really were MAGIC
As enterradas dele eram monstruosas !!
Incrível a força física desse jogador.
Shaq is Legend👑🏀🔥🔝💪

Shaq made a lot of big men look like kids.
7 years wow
true
1:42 - Even the basket does reverence to Shaq.
Those were the good days of the NBA...
1:57 the reactions of the bench :´D
Saw it too hahaha its like dammnnnnn
I miss shaq so much. There are 2 kinds of nba allstar games, one with Shaq, one without.
He's an amazing player Shaq was he still amazing now. 🏀🏀👍👍😁
Shaq was an absolute beast 👊🏾
Shaq literally could take down the whole place 😳🙌
The best center in Orlando Magic history by far!
Shaq was so GREAT when he was with the Lakers that I forgot how great he was with the Magic.
Young shaq was as unstoppable as any force of nature.
#4 could have actually killed him.
I remember pretending to shaq dunk on my wallball court in my bedroom growing up......yeah, after two my dad was like hell no. Lol
So I had to use electrical tape and hangers to fix them. 😂😂😂
Shaq was awesome to watch when he was with Orlando!
Respect Shaq!
That Magic's team was really amazing. Prime shaq was the best pivot of all time.

The greatest Center to ever play the game.
Agora sim lances do meu Orlando Magic
this guy would be the GOAT if he had proper work ethic and kept in his orlando magic shape for most of his career
I like how everybody is clapping when he destroys the baskets 😂
1:49 The whole basket was like - "Let me take a rest for a bit with these dunks imma seat here for a second".😂😂
OMG!! This foo breaking the goal man hes more than a legend ☆
Wow. Shaq posterized one of the best centers of all time TWICE.
When he broke the back broad i cried tears of joy
I once had a basketball that has O'neal's handprint on it. Almost covered more than half of the ball.
Shaq and Dwight Howard were so tall ,such giants yet they were so quick, aerial and mobile
Him taking down the rims cracks me up every time lol
#Epic
Shaq is a phenomenon of nature ... a show man
Imagine Shaq had his Magic days physique his whole career 😳
He'd have been mvp perennially
I miss the 1992-1995 Magic.
I love how he casually lowers the ring when dunking. 😅
Im missing such sympathic, entertaining guys today.
No body could stop he! he is the strongest man in NBA history!!!! he is the best center
@Victor Sullivan
Wilt didn't play in Shaq's era. Shaq was more dominant physically than Wilt. And had he play in the 60's, he would have averaged hands down the same kind of numbers Wilt did in his prime. People never take the era into account but it does count.
Shaq is one of the greats. However, look up Wilt Chamberlain he is hands down best bigman ever
After being in Orlando, he was constantly entering the season 30-40lbs overweight. If he cared enough to keep a low body fat percentage, and worked on his FT's, he'd have every NBA record known to man, including most rings in the modern era. He lacked work ethic.
Now those are some high percentage shots
John Noonan obviously
@John Noonan AMEN my friend lol
I took a picture of Shaq dunking a alley oop at the GWF vs. the lakers and he's got his right hand on the rim slamming it and tip of his left foot is touching ground. I'm 6'2" and if I lowered my hoop to 9 ft., I still wouldn't be able to dunk on guys like Shaq did. So athletic for 7'1"
é um monstro
Game and ring changer, the most dominant center in nba history

Best center ever... man of steel
I think Shaq was truly the last physically dominant big man in the NBA. free throw shooting ( yikes!) aside, his sheer size and agility made him pretty tough to guard.
I remember this amazing pass he did once, where he didn't dunk at the end... Wait... Actually it was not Shaq, it was another player.
You gotta realize this was when the league was physical...they didn't call the love tap fouls like they do nowadays... These were top NBA centers ! Not scubs ... Hall of Famers known for their physicalness... Alonzo Mourning, Mutombo,. Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon,
Most dominating player since 90s
yok böyle bir adam. 10 numara. adam potayı kırdı hahahahaha
If shaq was in his prime right now in the nba he would be averaging 35p, 20r, 5b
b for backboard right
Dennis Rodman join the group
Never even averaged 30 in a season
40 ppg no problem , with the soft ass defence of today.
@James Jones
Definitely !
The guy was just unstoppable.
there is nothing "magical", he's just a GIANT
Salut from Greece ,i wasn't fan off shaquile O'Neal never,, i was fan of Robinson or Hakim this era but i think shaq is the best center of all time ,its fair to admit this
2:06 In this frame we can see 14pts scored for the brutal way of score.
Rumors have it that the man at 3:14 is still looking for a high five
most athletic big man of all time
Back when he was young and athletic
Shaq was a beast in Magic. How he was that good even tho he can’t shoot free throws, 3s, mid range wasn’t that good but still dominated the game.
He was so athletic in Orlando
I remember a time where Penny alley-ooped to Shaq from half court. I remember writing a paper on that dunk while in high school. X-D Anybody got a clip of that?
Shaq deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!
Nobody could bring a stadium full of fans to their feet like Shaq did!
A lesson: When you see Shaq about to dunk on you...dont try to block it
I watched this entire countdown with a smile on my face
Respect for Zo, he was contesting EVERY shot
Sometimes you forget how dominant and fluid the Orlando magic version of Shaq was in the 90s
Shaq's wink can mesmerize the coldest of hearts
Never seen an Irish playing basketball in such a versatile scale.
Shaq was so raw back in his Orlando days, like as if he was trying to make a statement that he was here and ready
I want today's NBA like it was back then
It'd be cool to see the dream shake against MJ during the All star pre-game as an onorable mention
shaquille has a powerful DUNK!!!!👏👏👏
That was when the NBA realized they needed to make the baskets' bases stronger..
